Gokuldham Summer Camp
Since its humble beginnings in 2012 with just 25 campers, 5 counselors, and a handful of dedicated adult volunteers, Gokuldham Summer Camp has grown into a transformative, large-scale community experience. In 2024, we proudly welcomed over 260 participants – including campers, junior and senior counselors, college leads, and more than 45 adult volunteers – each contributing to a week filled with energy, learning, and inspiration.
Gokuldham Summer Camp is more than just a summer camp – it is a vibrant movement rooted in culture, connection, and character – building. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and joyful space where children of all ages can explore their Hindu heritage, build confidence, and develop leadership skills in a way that feels fun, meaningful, and empowering. Through engaging activities, workshops, team-building games, and spiritual learning, campers grow not only in knowledge but in friendship and faith.
One of the most powerful aspects of our camp is the leadership journey it fosters. Many of our current college leads and senior counselors began their journeys as young campers. Over the years, they have grown into inspiring role models, helping design and lead the very programs that once shaped them. This cycle of growth and mentorship is at the heart of what makes Gokuldham Summer Camp so unique and impactful.
At its core, the camp is a reflection of our community’s values – service, tradition, joy, and unity. Every smile, every activity, every shared story is a step in building a lifelong foundation of culture and connection.
